by Nick Gaynor Date Added: Wednesday 11 March, 2009 The 1x3W runs hot with a 3W LED. A little too hot for my comfort. There is no labeling on the device. I purchased the 1x1 and 1x3 at the same time, and if not for the writing on the baggie, there is no way to discern the difference between them. Make sure you write on the device what it is as there is no easy way to identify which is what. Note also that the input is the two unpolarized red leads (it doesn't matter which lead is connected positive or negative), and the red and black leads are the respective positive and negative output to the LED...
